Reservation & Cancellation Policy
Because the palace welcomes only one family's pet(s) at a time, availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Booking & confirmation: Requested dates are held once a 50% deposit is received, at which point your reservation is confirmed.

Deposits: A one-night, nonrefundable deposit is required for stays of three or more days during summer and holiday periods.

Cancellations: Cancellations made with 24 hours' notice or less are subject to a fee. I appreciate as much advance notice as possible so I can offer the spot to another guest.

Meet-and-Greet: Before booking, all new dog owners must complete a Meet-and-Greet with their dog at my Pet Palace.

Overnight Trial: For stays longer than 48 hours, an overnight trial is also required to ensure your dog is comfortable and settled with me before their full stay.

Cancellations: A cancellation fee applies for 24 hours' notice or less. The exact amount may vary — just ask during the first meeting, and I'll go over the details.

Pet Requirements for 24-Hour Boarding Care
Setting Every Pet Up for a Safe, Happy Stay

Up-to-date on vaccinations & fixed: Rabies, distemper, and Bordetella are required, with proof of vaccination, along with monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.

Fully house-trained: Accidents happen occasionally, but I'm unable to care for dogs or cats that aren't fully house-trained or are known to mark indoors.

One year or older: For everyone's comfort, I care for dogs and cats one year and older who have outgrown most puppy and kitten behaviors, like chewing, high energy, and unreliable potty/litter training.

Proper enclosure for exotic pets: Any pet other than a dog or cat must arrive with a cage or enclosed playpen.

Enjoys people: I prefer pets who are comfortable around people, with no history of aggression, nipping, or biting.

Friendly with other dogs: Your dog will be the only guest, but since they may meet other dogs on walks or near neighboring properties, I prefer social, easygoing pups. For everyone's safety, I can't accommodate dogs with a history of aggression toward other dogs.

Comfortable in a home environment: Since pets stay on my property, I'm best suited for pets who respect household items and don't have destructive chewing habits.

Considerate with noise: To keep a calm environment for the guests and neighbors, I care for dogs who are generally quiet and don't bark or howl excessively.

Identification for safety: All pets must wear a collar with up-to-date ID tags throughout their stay.

Flea-free: I'm unable to accept pets who currently have fleas or have had fleas within one month before their stay.
